Lee Shing Chuan

Lee received his B.Eng degree in Mechanical Engineering majoring in Automotive Engineering and MSc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), both in 2014 and 2020 respectively. Besides that, Lee is a certified race engineer as he gone through intensive training programmes conducted by Motorsport Industry Association (MIA).
Previously, Lee was known as the biodiesel “chef” for making large batches of biodiesel during his postgraduate. Upon graduation, Lee worked as a race engineer for a race team and he was tasked in making military spec wire harness, calibrating engine for high performance application and analysing data collected from race car. Among the race events he involved were Touring Car Racing (TCR), Malaysian Championship Series (MCS) and Malaysian Speed Festival (MSF).
Apart from academia, he spents his free time becoming a weekend warrior and getting heavily involved in the aftermarket automotive field. He calibrates aftermarket electronic control unit (ECU) of car engine for higher performance, makes military spec wire harness for race car and at times works as a race/strategy engineer in race events.
