The University of Southampton Malaysia (UoSM) is proud to announce that all our business and engineering academic programmes have received full renewal approvals from the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE). This achievement is a strong endorsement of the quality, consistency, and credibility of our academic offerings.
The following programmes have received the maximum allowable renewal period from MoHE:
- Business Foundation Year

- BSc Business Entrepreneurship
- BSc Economics and Actuarial Science
- BSc Marketing
- MEng Aeronautics and Astronautics – awarded a 7-year renewal
These renewals not only reflect regulatory confidence but also validate the academic excellence and operational rigour embedded across all levels of our teaching and learning environment.
UoSM’s commitment to delivering globally recognised education is evident in the calibre of our graduates, who consistently demonstrate critical thinking, innovation, and leadership in their respective fields. These outcomes are driven by a forward-thinking curriculum, industry-relevant training, and an academic culture grounded in research and real-world application.
Our programmes are designed to prepare students not just for today’s challenges but for tomorrow’s opportunities, empowering them with skills that meet both local and global demands.
As we prepare for the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) compliance audit in 2026, this milestone further affirms our readiness and determination to uphold and exceed, the high standards expected of us.
This renewal is more than a regulatory milestone, it’s a reaffirmation of the value we deliver to students and the trust placed in us by employers and the wider academic community. It reflects the hard work of our faculty and staff, and our continued commitment to nurturing graduates who are not only academically accomplished but also industry-ready.
