Dr. Arsalan Ahmed

Dr. Arsalan Ahmed completed his Master's in Economics and Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics before receiving his Ph.D. degree in Economics from Shandong University, China, under the Chinese Scholarship programme. He is passionate about interdisciplinary research, with research interests in international economics, the digital economy, artificial intelligence, game theory, and more.

He began his academic career as a visiting faculty member at Ziauddin University, Pakistan, in 2011, and has since served as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor at Dawood University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan, since 2013. He has taught various courses such as Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Exploratory Data Analysis, Calculus, Simulation and Modelling, and Business Simulation among others, over the course of 12 years.

Dr. Arsalan has published research papers in several peer-reviewed international journals in economics and is also a reviewer for international journals such as Economic Modelling, Open Journal of Business and Management, and Frontiers in Public Health. Additionally, he has worked as a research officer on multiple research projects under the Applied Economics Research Center, University of Karachi, and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
