UoSM organised a Scopus Indexed "International Conference on Green Energy, Computing and Intelligent Technology (GEn-CITy 2024)" in collaboration with the IET, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) China, UCSI University Malaysia and University of Santo Tomas, Philippines, between 11th December 2024 to 13th December 2024. Further, the theme of the conference was “Connected Intelligence for a Sustainable Future”. The aim of the GEn-CITy 2024 was to serve as a forum for engineers, researchers, and specialists from academia, research centers, and industry worldwide to discuss and present the latest developments and applications related to the challenges of securing clean and sustainable energy sources for the 21st century to protect the environment. This year, we organised the conference on virtual mode.
We invited Keynote Speakers and Industry Speakers from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, Kyushu University Japan, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris Malaysia, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Intel Corp. Canada, IBM USA, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram, India, Aerodyne Group Malaysia, and Curtin University Malaysia.
Through the 3 days online event, we had participation of over 100 delegates from Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, India, Bangladesh, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, USA, Thailand, Iraq, South Africa, Lebanon, Vietnam, and other more countries to take part in Keynotes sessions, as well as in parallel paper presentation sessions.
Peer-reviewed and accepted papers of the GEN-CITY 2024 conference will be published as proceedings with IET Conference Proceedings. The proceedings will be included in the IET Digital Library and IEEE Xplore and indexed by the Ei Compendex, IET Inspec and Scopus.
