Project Abstract
As social media applications are reliable and on the go now, they affect someone's life and working culture.
This research is about exploring the current trend of medical practitioners in their daily patients' management or routine and the impact towards patients’ privacy. This research wants to know whether medical practitioners are using social media to share patients’ medical information.
Their intention is maybe purely to ensure the process of admission and decisions for patients to be very fast and accurate however, patients’ privacy needs to be protected in every way. This surely leads to data leaks and creates privacy issues among patients.
The data can be used by irresponsible parties for many untold reasons which should be avoided. This research will analyse the use of blockchain technology in social media platforms as a potential solution to improve data privacy.
