The University of Southampton Malaysia (UoSM) has embarked on an exciting new collaboration in the field of educational technology (EdTech) through a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Quocent Sdn. Bhd., a renowned leader in software engineering and digital transformation.
This strategic partnership aims to foster the exchange of knowledge and innovation, with a strong focus on tech-driven educational programs designed to equip students with industry-ready skills. The collaboration will also pave the way for academic exchanges, joint research initiatives, and a series of seminars that will promote thought leadership and cutting-edge advancements in the tech industry.
The MoU was spearheaded by UoSM's School of Computer Science (CS), with key coordination led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Marwan D. Saleh (CS Industry Lead) and Asst. Prof. Dr. Adrian Tan (UoSM Enterprise Lead). The official signing ceremony featured Ir. Dr. Pieter Pottas (UoSM Interim CEO and COO), Prof. Dr. Ng Jo-Han (Director of the Research Management Center), Assoc. Prof. Sagaya Amalathas (Head of School, CS), and Mr. Saswat Kumar Panda (CEO of Quocent).
